Alkan Telecom finalized executing an electronic surveillance system for traffic jam points in Cairo streets for 3 million pounds. Alkan Telecom Business Development GM Alaa Khalil made clear that the new system monitors traffic jams through video cameras that are monitored through Free WIMAX network operating on 5.8 MHz frequency licensed by NTRA. The new system is expected to offer additional services along with the ability to be fused with services currently present. The company intends to offer satellite communication services through its new center located in 6 th of October City. The new center aims at deploying certain numbering codes to facilitate satellite communications and to grant high speed Internet services. |
