Alkan role in this project was providing solutions for the network infrastructure.
This project was awarded to Alkan Communications-telecom as a turn key project, (Delivery,
Installation and Testing) in recognition of Alkan as one of the major distinguished
designers and installers of the Local Area Network (LAN) in Egypt.
The solution was based on the most advanced and state of the art technology in the
communication field. It also utilizes the most modern Network Communication
products available. 1540 Outlets (Nodes) installment took place distributed among
three main buildings each containing 5 floors. The system also includes a
Video conferencing System connected to the Backbone switches in addition to
Internet Access to enable external communication. |
