| Alkan Group announces the death of its Chairman Eng. Mohamed Nosseir, |

On the 22nd of May 2009, Mr. Mohamed Nosseir, Alkan Group Chairman, passed away aged 72. Mr. Nosseir has suffered sudden illness last January and was in the hospital ever since. The funeral prayer will take place on Monday 25th , after Duhr prayer in Al-Rashdan Mosque, while the family will receive the condolences on Tuesday 26th, at Omar Makram Mosque.
Mr. Nosseir founded Alkan Group in 1974 and has been its Chairman since then. He has steered the Group through tough times through which his entrepreneurial talent has grown the Group to a multi-billion EGP business that employs more than 5000 persons.
Alkan Group’s loss of this great leader is far from comprehension, he will always be remembered for his great vision, integrity and modesty. May GOD rest his soul in peace and grant his family relief and solace. |
