The service Assurance is the second layer on the top of the network assurance. In the network assurance layer (Core Network performance and Radio System Performance), Alkan Telecom provides KPIs and metrics of the network and network elements; however nothing is related to the service performance of its content. In other words, in the service assurance layers, Alkan Telecom provides KPIs about the services such as email, MMS, Video Streaming, etc. In this context, quality of the content delivery is measured because this is what the end subscriber will face and deal with. In many cases, the network performance KPIs might indicate a healthy and sound network, however this is not a confirmation that the service and content delivery is performing well, nor is it a confirmation of low throughput or delays in the content delivery.

Service Assurance is more oriented to customer experience. Alkan Telecom has implemented many service assurance projects and built accumulative experiences enabling its technical team to evaluate the service quality, simulate subscriber experience, and most importantly, perform the right root-cause-analysis to pinpoint problem sources and isolate them.
